Dr David Bretton graduated from Newcastle University Dental School in 2013. He has won multiple awards including ‘Best Young Dentist’ at both the Dentistry and Private Dentistry Awards and ‘Young Dentist of the Year’ at The Dental Awards.

David is a highly motivated dentist who has been referred to as a ‘rising star’ in the dental media. He has completed further postgraduate training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics.

He has completed a post graduate diploma in endodontics and clear aligner therapy and dedicates most of his time now to minimal invasive smile makeovers including Invisalign, tooth whitening and composite bonding.

David has completed over 1500 Invisalign cases and now spends a lot of his time teaching and mentoring other dentists in this area through Align and The Aligner Dental Academy. He also lectures on composite bonding and the Smilefast system and this has taken him around the UK and also to the USA where he has lectured in Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Outside of work David is also a fully qualified personal trainer and he enjoys going to the gym and maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle. He fits in everything he does around his busy family life with his wife and 2 young children.
